Frequently asked questions:

I don’t like certain colours, I don’t want to use them in my brand.

We’ll always challenge preconceptions and biases where we find them, what you like and what your customers might like are two different things. Whatever your preferences, we'll work to them where we can rationalise them with data.

If you build a logo and brand for me, do I own the trademark?

Trademarking is a step on from where we finish, if you work with us to build your brand name and product eco-system, we support you with the name itself and ensure that minimal friction follows - from understanding what domain names are available, to trademark searches to discover if anything conflicts in relevant classes. Anything we build, from an Intellectual Property standpoint, belongs to you the moment it is paid for. That is baked into the contract. There are no licensing challenges or anything else that we take ownership of once our final invoice is paid.

We haven’t got a product yet, why should we invest our funding in brand now?

You don’t have a product yet, but you do have an idea, a thesis, or a concept, both of which need nurturing and interest, to grow. Building a brand platform early can help greatly in helping you go to market with both a stronger product, and some anticipation from early adopters. Additionally, you need talent, you need your investors, and your existing team to buy into this idea and be proud to shout about it - brand is a key to unlock this.

Typically, it takes between 4-12 weeks, depending on the complexity and depth of the project. It always starts with understanding you and your strategy when it comes to your route to market and performance. You will always get a brand kit as part of your deliverable, ensuring that you can create whatever you need to.

We don’t have a lot of budget, what can you do for us?

We try to assist as many people as we can in making their ideas come to life, we work with small budgets, and more full ones. Every quote we do is bespoke for the company, and the product, we are working on. Our minimum budget for new clients is found on our startup surgery page
